Otto you really saved
Otto you really saved me...
I had big problems creating the csv files from Excel and i left the idea to create named markers.
If you say i can modify the default one, renaming and editing them, you ade a man happy:-)

Revised Wombles Named Route Markers
Found the errors, missing MINUS prefixes with three location co-ords. Download them again to update your copies.
If you want to me to add more markers, knowing which locations you want to move to a lot, then please post them here, Location Name, Longitude and Latitude, so that others using the route can download them from my web site, all copies then being synchronized, not overwriting additions made by individuals !
Take care, O t t o

Are these route markers so
Are these route markers so you don't have to go tearing around the countryside when your making a scenario you just click on them and go there quick?
Hiya Dave thats right, in
Hiya Dave thats right, in the compass drop down you can now bring out the markers list and go direct to that location!

I borrowed the Hagen-Siegen marker *.bin and *.dcsv files and renamed them so:
Then it just a question of editing their internals to suit and being a "stickler for detail", like Adam said, have formatted them to show them the way I like ! :-)
Have a look into these files and you will see how easy it is, duplicating many of it's values seemingly not bothering RS elsewhere. Neither will just duplicating existing parameter paragraphs in the *.dcsv file and change their names, latts and longs to suit.
The latter have to entered in the opposite order to how they are shown in the GPS co-ordinates !
The SPARES copy contains a BACK-UP which has more unused parameter paragraphs should more markers be required.
Having created them then DELETE all the Blueprints.pak files before running RS and they should show in the route in alphabetical order.

That's why I have created them and being a Freeroam scenario only route like my CAJON-OTTO-MINOR and HAGEN-SIEGEN-FREEROAM route copies have placed player services at most of these route marker locations I can then jump to and test-drive them.
Am using the new ICE-3 to blast it along the 4-tracks electric line. :-)
Noticed that the other tracks are not electrified and therefore can not use the IOW LU trains until somebody hacks copies of them so that they can run on these tracks !

Hi Dave ! "LU stock will run
Hi Dave !
"LU stock will run as long as the track property is set up to be electrified, well I use the third rail track property and the LU stock runs no problems."
How do you do that, most of the track laid being Bath_Temp: Main Down ?

otto, in the right hand
otto, in the right hand flyout when you go to lay track in settings there select electrified then the choice of Over Head, third, 4th and i think "Both" as long as you lay the track with electrification properties any electric powered loco or multiple unit will run regardless of if the eye candy is there or not.

Post Electrification
"In the right hand fly-out when you go to lay track in settings there select electrified then the choice of Over Head, third, 4th and i think "Both" as long as you lay the track with electrification properties any electric powered loco or multiple unit will run regardless if the eye candy is there or not."
I think that you can do that only when putting down new tracks, having to select forinstance 3d rail again when changing the type of track from lets say concrete to wood and back again.
Once track has been placed, I can not see a way of electrifying it wholesale afterward, unless there is a setting in the Bath Trackrules which can be changed to electrify it ? :-(
While I was writing this I had a thought, I wonder if I can do that ?
So I edited the BATH MAIN DOWN trackrule and replaced it's None electric paragraph with the ISLAND LINE 3rd rail one and voilà, the WOMBLES tracks are now electrified for 3rd and 4th rail rolling stock and even overhead wire locos which happen to stray onto them ! :-)
That means of course that this modified trackrule will have to be distributed with the route, making all the BATH route's 3rd rail electric too, which causes no problems for users of it.
B.t.w., noticed that a few of my named route markers are wrong, done in a hurry and shall fix that, adding a few more tomorrow. :-(

You can change previously
You can change previously laid track to be electrified at any time... use the select tool highlight the part of the track until you want to stop electrifying it then the right hand side track properties flies out (if pinned) then select the new properties for the track to electrify

Yes, Dave, I knew that,
Yes, Dave, I knew that, using this track selection method for adding third and fourth rails, I applied when creating a LU 3rd/4th rails tunnels circle test route:
www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/rs/4-rails-test-route.zip
But that has to be done selected track section by track section, I would not attempt doing in a route like the WOMBLES with it's many un-electrified tracks ! :-(

I will though
I will do it - it was always ome of the things that will get done - however we were waiting for the 4thrail to be released before doing any other work to the underground network................the next thing of course is to build maybe another 4 stations north bound and place a working depot there - aprox 10 miles .........still that will ne done by the time i release the next installment to the wombles...all takes time however.

4th Rail
"However we were waiting for the 4th rail to be released before doing any other work to the underground network.......
The Wombles BATH MAIN tracks can be changed to 3rd rail in their Trackrules file, but like you said, until there is a general Trackrule for a third rail, it and using it also for the fourth rail is not possible unless users have the IOW installed.
