Yep it certainly a nice video, however as already confirmed by 3DTrains who made the video, it is merely a rendered animation and not in anyway a games engine on show.
One thing to bear in mind is that such animation of the crewmen walking to the control panel and operating it, such actions are already done in Rail Simulator. The only questionable aspect is having the engineer walking from a set locaiton off of the turntable/traverser. Where would he walk to and from? In a busy depot, for each time you use the table, would you want to wait for the animation to show him walking to and from his hut, or would it be better to have him already standing at the controls waiting to operate it.
