Hi all, Just to let you see my first reskin, learning as I go however... Livery is more of a grey and going to change that, busy also working on 166 Scotrail livery, more difficult as there is no template.

Two problems I have, I need to blank out the numbers on the Class 43, not sure how to do this.
Also the logos texture file on the 166 I copied from the Default but shows the original decals of the South East version not sure what I'm doing wrong see this screen shot..

Update 25/02/2008. 5pm, okay its my day off been busy... I wish i can get paid for this, any jobs going at Kuju??

How to
Not sure if you would like this but here goes.
Optimising Windows to run RS.
Memory..
Before running RS, make sure you do not have any programs running, all the icons on your status bar (next to your clock) take up memory, shut them down. This will make the program run faster.
You can also upgrade your computer to add some Ram, look in your bios to see what Ram you have, if there is empty slots in your system you can buy new Ram and add it to your system, typical price is £17.50 for 1Gig or about £30 for 2Gig.
To optimse your Ram, right click on your Start button, then Left click on exploer then Right click on my computer, left click on properties, click on Advanced tab, then click on performance, make sure all the boxes are unticked, this will make your system faster, click for best performance, next click on Advanced tab then virtual memory, change the amount according to the recommended setting.
In all the more memory you have the better and smoother the graphics are.
Just a wee dity to help you out.

Bummer
Hey mate, Just spent £41.50 on a ATI HD 2400XT card, slight improvment on the reso but on the plus side it has a HDMI connection so can plug it in to my 40" TV, sad news is I have to pay £70 for a HDMI cable to connect it 4 meters from my computer duh!
And also not best for reskining as you need to see the pixels in Paint shop pro close at hand.
So thinking of getting a 22" TV and replacing that with my monitor.
Anyway hope to get the first MK3 done this weekend, also thinking of updating the boogies on the 43 as if it came out the paint shop.
Have a good weekend.
