Adam,
The new screen shots look very good, looking forward to the release! Not trying to be picky but I've just noticed that the 3rd rail insulators (pots) don't look quite right and detract from the excellent detail elsewhere in the route. Specifically some don't line up with the sleeper ends and stand on the ballast and they also seem to be too large in diameter. Is it too late to change them?
Please feel free to move this post if this is the wrong section.

Hiya, I had already been
Hiya,
I had already been nagging the artists about the oversized insulator caps in comparision to the rest of the infrastructure and thankfully your post as well as others on UKT finally won them over so they have now been downsized.
The reason for the mis-matching with sleepers is due to the fact the 3rd rail is added as an Offset loft to the track, rather than being built into the track profile directly. The advantage of this is that we have ultimate control over the placement and accuracy around junctions and complex track.
The disadvantage is that because the loft is seperate from the track, despite having the correct 4 sleeper spacing between insulators, the loft has no concept of relation to elements of the track and sleepers. Thus the spacing distance is based on where the loft is started rather than where the sleepers are.
We already have ideas on how to solve this disadvantage in future upgrades though.

Adam, Good news about the
Adam,
Good news about the size of the insulators! Not sure what an "Offset loft" is though, I'll have to do some reading somewhere. Glad to see that RSDL do listen to the customers ;-).

Hiya, Offset Loft = Anything
Hiya,
Offset Loft = Anything laid like track, but not track :)
Fences, Roads, OHE 3rd Rail, Background Tree Lines etc :)

Adam, Thanks for that
Adam,
Thanks for that information, much appreciated.
