RailWorks Art Plugins
Working with Rail Simulator addons

These plugins are required in order to make custom content using Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Adobe Photoshop. Supported 3D Studio Max versions include: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2008, 2009, 2010. Photoshop plugins are compatible from Version 6 onwards.

Using RailWorks3 Train Simulator 2012 without a connection

While an internet connection is required to activate and download updates to RailWorks3 Train Simulator 2012, it is not required all the time. To activate this mode, please click here for the Steam Support Page.
Backwards Compatibility
Working with Rail Simulator addons

The RailWorks3 Train Simulator 2012 Package Manager provides an Install Legacy Rail Simulator Addon facility which allows for the installation of purchased and protected Rail Simulator addons (DVD and Downloaded). To install a Rail Simulator Addon, click the Install Legacy Rail Simulator Addon button found in the RailWorks3 Train Simulator 2012 Package Manager and follow the onscreen instructions.
